I thought the cabs looked very similer, but the dodge has wider arches, and other detail differences, but the doors look the exact same as do the windscreen. Am I missing something or are they basicly the same cabs? Basically the same van. Renault and Dodge had a badge engineering thing in the 80s and you could get them here, sometimes dodge, sometimes Renault. Sometimes both. So the Army one was cab based on that. Love seeing random cabs - this Peterbilt 200 truck with a VW LT cab is pretty cool too The army truck is actually a Reynolds Boughton RB44 the older version was based on the A series Ford and looked like a Transit on steroids

Think that’s the “retro racks” owners van. Tis smart. Kind of like mine but more professionally built and finished haha I think your rig looks pretty smart, so less self-depreciation required, ok?

Absolutely. And not meant offensive against you. I read that you´ve been absent for a while. I don´t know if photobucket EVER was the best way, but in the last few months you could always read about it, how it killed lots of threads, since lots of pictures simply disappeared. And pictures which have survived or could be rescued, now wear huge watermarks all over them.

Both id say. Take your pick Ruined the combo Yeah that last one was slightly tongue in cheek, I like the intention behind it, but it just looks a bit wrong.

Thanks man. I happy with it, would like the paint a little more “patina’d” as that’s the sort of look I’m going for, not the fresh built look, mainly because I use it daily for work and any new paint would just get ruined.

When I google issues with my vans/cars and end up on a random forum, there’s nothing worse than finding the solution “with pics” but the images are no longer available haha

Where did you find that, it's stunning! Is there any more on it? And I hope their plan is to paint it.

I don't like sports cars, I just don't see the point. For me a vehicle is about hauling stuff from one place to the other. Doing work, (cherrypicker, milkfloat, car transporter, whatever) The more efficiently it can do that.. the better. (If its a nice day and you are not hauling tat.. take a bike!)
Hence why most of my vehicles are vans or trucks. I have 4 electric vans, one combustion van (might be EV converted soon) , one combustion Berlingo, 3 pickups, and a wagon.
Saloon cars are a poor-mans wagon !

Saloon cars are a poor-mans wagon ! That’s kind of the point, a ‘sports car’ as you term it, is not meant to ‘do stuff’, it exists for no other reason than to evoke happiness for just ‘being so’. If you can get a credit card in the boot, bonus, if not who cares.
