Hi all,
New here (not sure if I’m in the right section), just purchased a 2 door nova saloon, looking to give it a little bit of attitude.
The basic plan is to get some nice wheels on and lower it a little. I’m undecided on how low to go,
So does anyone have any pictures of a nova lowered onto 15” wheels and remember how low they went?
Thanks Jake.

A Nova looks odd on anything over a 13"/14" wheel ... IMO, obviously.

Lad back in the day I knew had his mum's brown nova on 17" halfurds specials. No other mods. Looked abit gash. Until he got a bass tube, then it looked gash and rattled more than the Sunday collection.

The GSi wheels on mine came off a Nova, the tyres on them were such a low profile that I'd rather walk, if that's what it takes to get 15s on one i wouldnt bother personally.

I had 7x15s on my first Nova, they were am Et35 offset and used to catch the arches. I'm sure with a et49 offset they wouldn't rub. My last nova had Et25 7.5x17s and loads of room. Got to love a wide arch kit. I shouldn't of sold that car 😫

They look good on Alessios and they are 16s, I think they need a really low profile to clear the arches. 195 40 16 I think

16s are bang on imo. 16" Alessios on a Nova is one of the best "common" car/wheel combos ever imo. Though this was my favourite car at the Weekender. I'm a sucker for big wheels on small cars though.

“Cav slabs“ in 15” or old school mk1 Astra gte/ mk2 cav sri rims look good, (Euro lot dish the Sri rims, no idea how..A 35 to 40mm drop is always a good all round figure, as in looks good and not undrivable.... 60mm is too low on most Vauxhall’s of that era from my memory..

There is a guy round the corner from me who has two Nova saloons, one is on alloys but cant remember if they are just astra steelies type alloys or aftermarkets.

I was always a fan of 15" Cav slabs on the Nova, I mate of mine bought some off me years ago for his and it looked great! I think it was lowered about 40-50mm.

et 49 4x100 15 inch rims with 195/45 r15 tyres will fit fine, even with 60mm drop.
been done since novas were new.
