Not been in for a while, but when i need help I know where to come!
6 pot bmw turbo Diesel engine , in a Range Rover p38
Engine blew a while back, just got another cheap ( I'm aware that cheap might equal no bl@@dy good)
Fitted up, when we crank it struggles into life on one or two cylinders for a second or so, and then resumes cranking
Cracked off the injector pipes, got a reasonable supply at about 4 of them, but just a dribble on 1&5
Question- are these usually a pig to bleed, do i have a dodgy injection pump or fuel pump, or none of the above?
Later on this week I’m going to plumb an electric pump in juryrigged before the filter and see if it makes a difference
Anyone got any ideas?
