What I find cringe worthy with 4 doors is when owners clearly wished they owned a 2 door RS2000 but can only afford a cheapy 4 door 'L' which they then try and modify to look like the real thing..
This I can appreciate tho. Nothing wrong with not paying crazy money for less doors as long as you embrace what you've got.

so, had a bit of a change up, mainly the wheels and tyres..! had these uber rare weds racing rims kicking about for a long time. they are not fully finished yet but you get the picture  hopefully you approve? if not? i don't care i love it  035D6543-832C-4B1F-BFB1-31F02090658E by  DB5CE067-9184-4C0C-9D0E-F68CA93C5003 by  C1B5E2FE-2706-4A7C-9F6F-5A219E6600B9 by next jobs over coming months if i don't sell it ( next project already bought and space is fighting me)that is are sound deadening to be applied on the floors, and re tidying the engine bay cheers Gav |

Love that - looks fantastic. Love the colour with the wheels!
It's amazing it has survived, I had a S reg 1.3L 4 door as my first car in 1986, the floor was rotten and it was only 8 years old.

Cheers all just a crying shame no shows on typical spend years building it lol but it’s for the greater good least I can say I saw it from basket case to nearly finished and definitely unique ! |

Revos are one of my favourite wheels, but I think I prefer the 3 spokes, they really suit it. Great looking car that.

I like it on the red revo's as the red spokes kind of go with the seats and the cam cover. Sweet car, I would rather look round your car than another restored Rs2000 which is just the same as all the others.

Ah cheers guys did not see these replies afterwards , bit of a resurgence To update I intend on taking this to the weekender , just sorted a iffy tca arm and bush , and tidying the interior a bit more it will never be mint but I will do my best to make the best of its whole purpose . Also I am not sure what wheels it will be on .. imagine that’s my biggest issue currently lol haha 😬👍 |
