Hi guys,
Gutted to be advertising this but my Saab 9-5 was recently wrote off while parked outside my house. It is a Cat B now as it looks like the shell is warped slightly and the rear offside wheel is knackered.
I’ve decided to move away from Saabs for a while so I have no use for any of the bits now. I would like to sell the whole car as one because I don’t have the space to break it. Would be perfect for using as an engine transplant into another project having all the wiring, sensors, etc all to hand.
The engine still works perfectly and has been thoroughly looked after. The engine was not original to this car so the body mileage is a bit off but I believe the engine has 120k miles. It had the timing chains replaced when the engine was installed about 18 months ago and it’s only covered about 2k miles since then. It has a custom Albert666 3” downpipe (£450), do88 intercooler and pipework (£550), 3.5bar fuel regulator, Forge actuator with .8bar spring (could do with being 1.2bar tbh), the TD04-15 turbo was replaced two years ago and is a genuine Mitsubishi/Saab item (£650), up to date PCV kit to stop the oil sludging and the ECU has been mapped by Noobtune at Stage X (but is more like 3+) because of the mish-mash of parts with the car being a 2000 and the engine a 2004. The clutch was replaced for an upgraded one when the engine was replaced as well. Last rolling road it was on it got 276bhp/420nm. It should be more at the top end of 290bhp/440nm but I suspect the injectors need replacing.
Here’s a link to the Readers Rides thread, although it hasn’t been updated for a while.
