Hi all,
I'm hoping the collective may be able to help me identify some rear brake Callipers fitted to a Ford Anglia 105e Rear Axle as fitted to a Classic Trials Car
Below are some Pictures of the Rear Brake Calliper but unfortunately I don't know what these are from so am hoping someone can identify them so I can replace them. What I do know:-
Ford 108mm PCD Disc Diameter is 230mm Disc offset (Hub Front Face to Disc Front Face) is 37 mm (may actually be 38mm) Disc is 8mm thick (probably originally 9mm?) Writing on the Calliper is 3XW (top line) 1310 (bottom line) Bleed Nipples have been replaced with Bolts
What I think I know:-
Modification done probably done in 1990 / early 2000's (it was AE86 Toyota 4AGE powered, now Toyota 7AGE powered) I'm guessing the callipers are probably Ford? The Disc is probably originally Front Fitment? I'm pretty sure these are not Sierra Callipers?
Many thanks in advance, any sensible suggestions gratefully received.
Dave

They look like Mr T (Toyota) calipers, remarkable similar the AE86 calipers You'll get them cheaper elsewhere, Fensport are expensive, try TCB parts or Brakes International. Bigg Red are also very reasonable for refurbishing your existing calipers.

Hi jimi, Thanks so much for the suggestion & for the quick reply, this makes complete sense as I guess they probably had an AE86 when they took the engine / gearbox / engine wiring loom so it would make sense to use the rear calipers if they had them. This has saved me so much guessing (can't believe I didn't think of it myself), thankyou, just need to identify the discs now. Dave

The ‘usual’ discs used for rear disc conversions are fiesta (mk1/2?) fronts. The outer edge of the half shaft flange will have been turned down a bit so will have ‘square’ edges not tapering out.

Thanks Dez, I'll look into this as yes the outer edge of the half-shafts have definitely been turned down slightly. Great suggestion as I think I'd heard a similar suggestion before. Thanks, Dave

I was going to say MX-5, but Toyota has already been suggested

Probably not Toyota disc's, they are mostly 4 x 114.3 or 4 x 100 PCD IIRC. 4A-GE powered Toyota's with all round disc's were normally vented disc's front and unvented rear
