This has been a thing that has crossed my mind before (I may even have done a thread before), but in the chat around "modern" stuff being posted on the forum I put the podcast that rmad and I recorded 4 years ago now around "what is retro?" and during that we were commenting that when we started the forum (at that time 12 years before) stuff that would definitely would have been "modern" would now be considered retro or even classic.
So I had a quick look as a time transported me, with £1,500 (~£2,400 adjusted for inflation) in my back pocket to buy a retro car (at least 20 years old), in working condition. I trundled off to eBay to see what I could find. All Buy It Now or Classifieds:
