First of all, this isn’t your every day 944 Turbo.. this is the highest mileage Turbo in Europe, if not the world?!
It has been fully restored and is in stunning condition. The body is utterly stunning with the paint having little or no blemishes. The interior is superb; immaculate seats, all electrics working as they should and looks fantastic.
The Alpine White paint with cream leather interior are really set off by a set of Fuchs; polished rims with black gloss inserts wrapped in Continental tyres.
History:
Featured in Porsche 911 & World magazine in 1998 as the most original 944 Turbo with 360,000 miles on it... a 4 double page spread! It’s covered a mere 5,000 miles since then, having been kept within a family and fully restored by them over the years, it really shows! The MOT history says it all, with only the last MOT in 12 years having any advisories (very minor and all of which have been sorted).
Drive: 9/10
The drive is superb, effortless power when the turbo kicks in and you feel like you’re stuck on rails!
Servicing/Engine: 9/10
It’s just had a full major service and Cambelt, Balance Belt, Tensioners and Waterpump at great cost.
It has sporadic history, although the magazine states the first 350k miles worth of maintenance. The previous owners did the work themselves as with most useable classics.
Body/Underside: 9/10
Sensational, really, it is absolutely immaculate. It has a carbon fibre front splitter, too.
Interior: 9/10
The cream leather is perfect, no rips tears or marks. The heater works on all speeds, windows, mirrors, sunroof etc all perfect. The only reason it doesn’t have a 10/10 is because the A/C doesn’t blow cold and it has an aftermarket CD player.
I’m marketing it at £11,495, as if it had ‘lower mileage’ it would be north of £20,000.
The mileage is an irrelevance as I back it to drive as good as, if not better than, a low mileage example.
Any inspection welcome.
