I am building a fast road Daimler V8 engine with independent runners from a common plenum for each bank on the V8. To optimize and smooth the airflow from the plenum into the runners I am looking for full radius velocity stacks with approx 34mm inner diameter (De in the picture below). I have been searching for a year or maybe even longer, but have not found anything suitable. They need to have at least 2mm wall thickness and be made from aluminium as I want to weld them in place. Does anyone know where I can buy or have these made? I need 8 (or maybe 10 as I need to have spare if the welding goes wrong )

1-3/8" - so should that 23 on the drawing be 32? - As I think it should be you are probably looking for custom - and would be best looking for a metal spinning company local to you.
There are plenty of metal spinners in the UK but 2mm wall could be a bit on the thick side - something to discuss with them I am not sure what thickness discs that they start with. Just google Aluminium spinners.
The other place would be the small capacity classic bike scene as that would be very Cafe Racer for a small Amal etc.

So De = 34mm, Di = 72,5mm, L = 34mm. A bit confused about r3? What I have found on metal spinning is that they usually are too thin. I am probably looking at having them milled on a lathe if I can not find them on the shelf somewhere.

Even if you could find them off the shelf they would probably be anodized and potentially be unsuitable for welding. Best get one drawn in cad and get somone to turn a set on a CNC lathe. Not the hardest job but wont be cheap unfortunately.

Just a thought as I did something a bit similar some years ago but why not make them in glassfibre or carbon? You could still spray with aluminium paint after. You could make a buck with a lump of wood in a lathe. Or foam in a pillar drill or something that looks about right to get the basic shape then lots of filler and trial and error. Perhaps even get someone to knock up something on a 3d printer as the buck to make a mold from. That's how I would do it today. In my case I molded bells direct onto the detachable aluminium inlet part of R1 carbs. Anyone remember when you could pick them up for £50! I didn't make a great job visually as I didn't care about the outside roughness as long as the inside was smooth. Taking a mold off an old velocity stack in the bottom of a coke bottle with polyester resin. Old grinding stone dropped in for locating later Gives this Plasticine to hold the buck in the correct place The red buck will be removed, the aluminium will be bonded into the fibreglass. So the red part waxed then Gelcoat the red part Chopped strand mat over the lot. Worst of the excess cut off but not finished. But inside was like this. Repeated this 4 times.
