And going over to MX-5 subframe assemblies front and back will lose the vehicle points for identity and need IVA. The way grizz plans to do this is cheap and legal from what I've gathered from this thread. And subframe swaps is not a cheap way of doing it Although if the rear subframe assembly could be bolted on and the chassis is not modified and the original front subframe is kept, that would still score points for original ID I think

Nothing like a neat pair. Those look quite hefty. On the contrary, those aftermarket doors are quite light and airy. JP

(c)Arlene? or Ilene Ondowers? Who knows with her. She seems moody nd unpleasant in pic no 2. I have not touched the car in two weeks, being busy with other jobs. Welding the Galaxy between rain storms and doing the day job, took some time from this project. Still need to carry on with the screen removal,I started with before. But the carport and it’s gutters also keep me busy. And laying upside down under the dash, in the rain sucks. Plan is more paint if the weather, which has been predicted as very rainy tomorrow, does hold out.

i have a jago jeep project. they are great little things. it has 8x15s in it that seem to really stick out a lot. just thought it might be an idea to look for jago wheels. I also have a set of 10x16 banded rims I bought in error. they have a pcd of 5x108 if you're changing the pcd anyway.

It is a lot more dainty, and less chunky (fat) than my Eagle. The Eagle RV has much wider sticky outty wheel arches, necessitating wheels to be pushed out, or et0 type wheels in order to fill the arches. I am going for 4x100 wheels as there are styles that I like a lot, like the ones I managed to find.

I saw some of the wheels I had found for the Rezin Rockit on sale on FB Marketplace for £350.00 So feel pretty pleased that I paid £100.00 plus collection for mine. I need to find some kind of centre caps, or a programme to 3D print a set for my wheels. Looking at wheel, adapters, I found these reasonably locally, about 20 miles from home. No idea on what they will be like, but the centre bore seems to be wrong at 55mm vs 63 on the hubs. But shows some are about if one looks. I am assuming one needs to still assemble them, fit studs to the adapters and then fit to the car. .

Mate craigrk and his son Kyle are doing a restoration on a Mk1 VW Golf . He has found a convertible roof frame, a front fender and a parcel shelf in Preston, Lancashire. The trick needed to be completed now is to get these parts down South (Craig lives in Leatherhead) Either free, or for beer tokens, or even pure Karma express. This pickup can be done any time from now onwards, keeping in mind all of the appropriate social distancing plums as needed. Please PM me or craigrk if you can help. Thanks.

Rezin Rockit will be a two seater though. No plan for rear occupancy. Looking forward to all of that coming together too.
