Brilliant news on the MOT Rian, not that it was ever in much doubt with the standard of workmanship that has gone into it, Now you can start enjoying it, Nigel

That's fantastic work - well done grizz and all involved! A herculean effort and it'll doubtless be an awesome summer motor.

Well done Grizz and co. Great milestone to have achieved. Many projects (some of my own included) end up on axle stands or tucked away in garages buried under curse word, great to have followed one from the beginning and enjoyed the journey to see it come to fruition. All the hard work, cold weather and the odd lunch hour tinkering has paid off. Fingers crossed for some warmer weather soon so it really can be enjoyed fully. Thanks for sharing.

Mate, really well done, really am chuffed for you! What a team of helpers as well, everyone involved should be patting themselves on the back this evening! Restores my faith in humankind, just a little... Totally. And from the smallest to biggest help was appreciated. Brilliant news Grizz, been watching from the start. Make sure you get out and drive it, that's the reward for all of the tinkering. Thanks mate. Congratulations. Well done indeed for keeping at it and getting your vision into reality. I know you have had willing assistance from all over, but it’s been your project and idea, and it would still be sat full of junk and leaves around the back of a Scottish industrial unit if you hadn’t seen the potential in it. You need to put some before-and-after photos together. It’s quite incredible just how far it’s come from the remains you began with. 👍👍 Thread started to post start and end in show off section. Thanks Glen. Awesome result that mate! Was bound to happen after all the work you had put in! Congrats! Thanks mate. nickwheeler had a lotto do with-it, between fabricating, motivating and curse word taking, he was great company, and as glenanderson says…. Keeping going can be a problem some days…… this forum and all-of you guys drove the build. Thank you Alex, much appreciated. Nothing like your amazing builds, but then, a bacon sandwich and lemon drizzlecake are very different but I love both. Great work grizz ! Hopefully now it's on the road we'll get to see it in the flesh sometime! As always, Kettle ison, come take a look. Well done Rian! It must have been an amazing feeling to get that MOT after all the hard work that went into it. I just went back to the beginning of your thread and reminded myself of how bad it looked when you first saw it.....you've done a cracking job 👍🏻 I've said it already, but summer's just round the corner, so you'll at last be able to get out and enjoy it. But then, knowing you, you'll probably have another project or two on the go to keep you busy. Thanks Dan. I forget so easily how bad it was. Yes, the next top secret project, which may have mental health services chasing me, has already been bought. Though I really would love to have had the 2CV van.

Thom 😃 Great result, well done. Now enjoy. Will do mate.thanks. So You've made it, from an ugly duckly to a roadready rezinrockit! Congratulation! I like that pic you created. Collages are great. Something silly…… the 5 star, or is that 5 numbers project. Brilliant news on the MOT Rian, not that it was ever in much doubt with the standard of workmanship that has gone into it, Now you can start enjoying it, Nigel Thank you Nigel. I think that I spent way more on this than I wanted to, and certainly more than one should. But compromise is not ideal. That's fantastic work - well done grizz and all involved! Roll on the 1st Thank you Joe. I am both thankful and pleased it passed first time. So often people lose interest or impetus partway through a build. I was always fearful that it could happen to me.

MOT pass is reassuring, and easily justifies the 'do it once, by doing it right' approach.
Wheels Day is six weeks away, which ought to be enough time to deal with any bugs and build some confidence in it. Although I suspect it's too late to book a space on the show field.
