grizz Being a neglected fibreglass kit car, you'll doubtless find some previously undiscovered species of plant growing in it when you strip it down... Loving this. Takes me back to my trip to get the Midas

😃 I must have had that plate for about 4 years waiting to pass it down the line. I did bring another wheel for you but the borrowed jack had been put away and we didn't want to pester Scott any more than we already had. So which one of the clowns are you? I only have Bill or Gordon to guess? Thank you very much, regardless. AHHHH...... Bill, top secret username. Top Bloke too.

Of course there has to be a certain amount of fun when doing this sort of thing, or else it would not be fun, would it ? So when Bill fetched the RX8 seats from Gordons van, he and Fil needed to test them first. Charging arounD to get them fitted Yup........ Feels just right. And looks good from down here. More in a moment.

Last big entry of photos. These detail pics I like because they take more than a day to become what they are. My favourite pic from today. Moss Alarm ? Gelcoat/paint. Needs a clean for sure. Even the wheels that were on it, on the wall side for the last 6 years show their age. . Eventually became time to leave. Bill and Gordon followed Fil and Nikki for a while. Spotted and snapped by Bill, this lady scrambled for her phone to take a photo of the van and trailer, wonder why? .I will copy and paste Fil’s travel report of their first leg of the return trip in a bit. Hope some of you are still awake and tasking note.

Wow! The weather is better in the North than in the South of The Netherlands ;-). As I plan a trip (with a classic off course) for next year or the year after (depending on our aunt Corona) to this area may I ask you how you find these rural Camp sites? Via an app or a specific site? I do not fancy those places which look like a golf court with only elderly people in their far too big caravans, and us.. Thom

Fab update. I use g3 on slow with water to get the gel coat up on my boat. If its painted then it would be too course and best with summat finer.

Thom Hi Thom, I do not know where these camps are, or how to find them. Maybe someone can reply with more guidance on here for you. Fab update. I use g3 on slow with water to get the gel coat up on my boat. If its painted then it would be too course and best with summat finer. That sounds good. Thanks

Looks like a pull-out stereo 😁 Was just talking to the kids I work with about taking the whole stereo out when I was a lad, they didn't believe me until Google came to my rescue (again...)

The GRN reg is only one letter off being Grizz’s Rezin Rockit. Might have to be Grizz’s Rezin Nugget instead.

Nice updates , great work all involved on the collection of the rocket Amazing teamwork, if one could call it that. People have just fallen out the woodwork in order to help, get involved and help get this down South. I guess once again, Karma at work. I have driven up to Yorkshire and Bristol to fetch motorbikes for people who could not, usually alone (not as nice as a trip with company) and brought them home, stored them and then delivered etc. So it all goes around. Looks like a pull-out stereo 😁 You mean fall out. 😉 Happy I did not have to do it. Great project and great read! Thoroughly enjoying it 👍 Thanks mate. I am actually enjoying it too, writing and living it. I actually re-read it a couple of days ago, and sat chuckling at it all. Certainly is a team effort. Looks like a pull-out stereo 😁 Was just talking to the kids I work with about taking the whole stereo out when I was a lad, they didn't believe me until Google came to my rescue (again...) Funny that...... we forget about pulling it, and shoving it under the seat, thinking nobody is going to look for it there. Had my car broken into once to remove it, and tear open bags of pulystyrene bubbles on the back seat, what a mess.

Not sure if saying “I am sorry” will make any difference. But he kettle is always on here. The GRN reg is only one letter off being Grizz’s Rezin Rockit. Might have to be Grizz’s Rezin Nugget instead. And as mentioned too, the N is 90’ out, could fall over and be a Z to create GRZ but still a Q plate. Guess it is stuck with that for life. The numbers 168 is one short of 1-69 too, but had value.......... if you know the joke.

Ready for the next leg, down to Kent. Three wipers should clean the screen pretty well. ETA at a lazy pace with stops for coffee etc is 3.00 to 4.00pm just when I have an hours training online. Let’s hope it is 4.00pm .
