Here's my S type sport, with a manual gearbox!!
I love this car, but I hardly use it, I have 3 cars and a van. If it doesn't fetch what I'm looking for I'll store it. They won't get any cheaper than this.
Its a chain driven aj30 v6 engine producing 240bhp, it has a k&n panel filter and custom stainless cat back exhaust, it roars!!
It's a pre facelift sport which is quite rare and to make it better its a factory manual gearbox which had a new clutch and flywheel about 18 months ago (no proof)
It has a few tasteful mods.....
7" touch screen headunit
Rear tints
18" black alloys 245/40 tyres rears spaced 15mm, purple extended wheel nuts.
Rear STR lights
STR style spoiler
STR style grill
STR badging
Twin exhaust
K&n filter
Led headlights
Stainless gearknob
Sunstrip
The skirts have been removed, and all rust treated (common on s types)
Rear subframe has been cleaned up and all undersealed
There are a few things to point out.....
It's coming up 20 years old, the paint work isn't brand new, there's a few small marks and scratches around the car, the rear bumper has some scuffs and flat paint, there's a coin size hole on the back drivers arch (non structural and passed its last mot like this)
It fires up, drives and stops well, but once you've driven a few miles and it's fully warm there's a faint ticking, it doesn't effect the drive or performance but I'm lead to believe its a sticky vvt solenoid, alot of people take the gauzes out to stop this or just drive it as I do.
It has 113k which isn't mega miles considering it's age and the mot is due mid october
It has full black leather on decent condition which is electric too.
There might be bits I've missed there a lot of car.
Best thing is to view, test drive, see how you feel, I fell in love first drive.
