It doesn't want to start because it's too hot, according to your gauge!
Joking aside, nice that you've managed to coax some life out of it.
Look forward to more!

tomorrow i go to survey the house i just bought !!!!! Please tell us you bought some dilapidated old pile? Given your admirably eccentric vehicular choices I don’t think it’s going to be anything particularly ordinary. Get a thread up! EO , is there a sub forum for that sort of thing ,? i would like to ask some questions about the heating system the previous owner was half way through installing cos its a bit odd .lots of brand new bits in the loft .

Garage life may be the best sub heading to document your new home. Good luck with the move

Keen to see what you've bought Robert. Also keen to see/hear the Temptress roar into life.

There were temperature gauges that work "hot to cold". They used a PTC (positive temperature coefficient) sender; the Smiths TT1200. Rare, obsolete and famously unreliable.

Are you on the Mig welding forum? There are some random questions asked on there and a lot of knowledgeable folks on there with a broad range of skills it’s not just about using the magic sparkly stick to glue metal together.

Stick it up again in the garage section and pretend it's about heating the garage as well as the house!
