I made this : I would very much like someone to build this, A) so I don't have to, B) because it would cause quite a stir, C) it would make prizes easier to give at shows

I have literally no idea how these things are sprung, but everything can be juiced. And if not juiced, bagged.
I feel like it needs a few period accessories to have 'the look' which would be problematic as I don't think there was any aftermarket stuff to fit British stuff in quite the same way they were for '30s/40s/50s American stuff.
Some big whitewalls, smoothies, make a sunvisor and you're 85% of the way there though.
Who is brave enough??

I think less is more might be the way forwad with one of these. Loose the overriders, wing mirrors, spotlights, and possibly the chrome trim halfway up the doors, and make the most of its lines. The wheels on Hotwires one a spoton.
I remember years ago a dark red one being featured in (possibly) custom car mag, roofchopped, mega low, probably lots of body mods. Cant find pics of it.

Just use the shell of that with something along the lines of this. no point keeping any of the too-much-dosh-to-maintain rolls parts

It's a shame apart from yours they're all based on Rolls Royce's. Never have so many reasonably well styled cars been more spoilt by that abortion they call a grille than at the RR factory.
The Bentley would really suit 'bomb' styling. I'd love to have enough money to be able to do it.

People do wheels and airride on cars that cost more than 25k quite regularly. The exact car from the original post is for sale btw www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C1225948Obviously that is still a whole lot of money to spend on something this ridiculous for most of us.

There's one at Copart - its listed has unrecorded but has suffered water / flood damage - its generally down at heal but at £13,800 (buy it now) its half the price of a up & together one - none the less you can loose more than a shirt on restoring the body & paint on one of these let alone any of the mechanicals & mods www.copart.co.uk/lot/31415510

Got a couped and chopped cloud shell that i have built in 1/32 that will also end up with a bentley front end. Does that count? (It will eventually sit lower than a low thing too!!)

Thats very cool, and not unlike the car I saw featured years ago in custom car. What body did it start out as? What make is it?

Originally a pretty nasty japanese friction toy. Re-cast in resin and a lot of hours got me to that point.
