So after several requests and based on the same format has the popular 'Body & Paint' thread - a place for your vehicle trimming questions which we shall do our best to answer / respond to - now a few simple requests from us - clear descriptions on what you are attempting to achieve with attached images - I will add to the thread with some of our own projects / images of previous / current work along with some descriptions etc - My background has been firmly rooted in classics / retros of all types for over 40 years at a professional level - the real skill in the trimming work though is Mrs GN (Sharon) whom has spent over 40 years in costume production / pattern drafting / costumier / teaching at very high levels in the Film / Theatre / Television industry throughout the world to which the credits fill a book - she has undertaken several courses in traditional upholstery and holds high level qualifications on the subject - In the background between the proper day job she has been undertaking my vehicle trimming work for the last 20 years - we are more based on the traditional / older style vehicle interiors of leather & vinyl than the modern cloths / brushed nylons - but we will endeavour to help / advise in anyway that we can - I'll post some projects up over the next few days has a lead in / starter to the thread subject - every post deserves a pic so to introduce the thread here is the lovely Mrs GN & myself with our 1952 Jowett Javelin at last years Goodwood Revival
