Really enjoying the Podcasts guys, please keep doing them. This week's really made me think of the journeys to RRG and the trials and tribulations associated with it. Looking forward to getting back for another when the time comes. The judging cars is great and Simon's illustrations are a great insight into the background ideas on each.
Thank you!

You were talking about a vid kev made from his trip to the Arcticbin a bmw. Is that somewhere online that I've missed? Or just shares privately?
Great episode of the podcast again, I really like it!

Thanks!
//edit : might be a good idea to put stuff like this in the shownotes, if you're talking about a video or topic. I tried looking for the video, but couldn't find it, as I didn't know what it was called. That way it's always there to find.

To be honest I looked it up after you request, but I agree, I shall add it.

Bouncy castles stories reminds me of a Nissan day I went to in 2015.
I took mini Minty.
I didn't get to see any cars or drifting because Mini Minty cried every time we left the bouncy castles / animal petting stands.
---
Also bouncy-castle-gate at RRG in 2017 possibly? When it all kicked off, over a biting incident IIRC.

Listened a 1/3 of the way through. It's brought back some good memories of many trips that I've done right from the: 1)Shitboxes we bought for hundreds of pounds in a blind optimism of how the trips would go. 2)Doing the trips now in pretty decent cars, and in a few cases, in cars that make a statement. I never thought for instance -I'd be having a chat with a Belgian guy with a Jag Mk2 in "Belglish" about the cars when I was driving the D21 with a mate -Whilst filling the M3 up with fuel in Bruges, I'd end up chatting to a chap at a petrol station about my car. I literally went in to get some ice cream, pay for the fuel and drive off! So much for me keeping time that day! -Have a mutual admiration between two cars; despite being in two different camps : I touched on this in my German Road Trip . -A breakdown in an alien country to me could be one of the highlights of the trip -RVing could be a load of fun ; I have a quite a few pics of these trips if anyone wants them, but I've never put them on here as they're not very car/RR themed. It's also made me realise that at times like this, I've glad that that in recent years, I took the drive to do mini-road trips like this all over the place. It's not easy to organise these things. I was never the organiser, but in recent times, I've found myself becoming just that, and have done it a few times. I wouldn't say I have a system, but no-one has moaned yet. We'll see if Matt does of this parish . As for the car mattering? That depends It helps, but if you like your car and/or don't take it too seriously, you're halfway there IMHO. Some of the best roadtrips I had were in a Mondeo Estate with 250k on the clock (That car went abroad 3 times with me . Another time, the then 17 year old Escort XR3i Cab made the road trip great ; this was the car that broke down. In short, when the oportunity arises again at some point in the future, enjoy the trips and don't think so much about the what ifs. Anyone who knows me will know that's not a statement I say lightly all of the time ; quite the opposite . I'm looking forward to hearing the rest of the podcast.

We always do a nurbergring trip each year, done 500 pound cars, a limo and our 'normal' stuff and the journey is always the best bit.
Last 2 years ive done worthersee and really enjoyed it, first time in an e32 bmw and the second time in the 64 lincoln continental which was absolutely amazing. Was due to drive the lincoln to poland for ultrace2020 show this year but not sure what will happen with that.
