Don't let the pictures deceive you. This car is still a survivor which wears most of it's original dents proudly. Even tough I treated all the rust and done quiet a lot of welding I hope the chassis still has some good years in it, coated everything inside in the sills with Fluidfilm and everything on the outside with Permafilm. The before mentioned back box came today. Couldn't resist mounting it immedeatily.

Good work - looks good. I had a black 1997 Fiat Cinquecento 899cc that I 'rescued' from being scrapped (it was actually in very good condition), and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was, particularly compared to my first car, a 1973 Fiat 126 594cc. The Cinq was the most economical car I've ever owned - it would regularly achieve 70 mpg, without trying too hard!
I later had a 1999 Abarth Seicento, which was junk in comparison, as it kept overheating its crank sensor and cutting out in traffic; despite fitting numerous new sensors and adding additional cooling ducts, it never solved the problem, so I sold it.

Even with mild tuning my 899cc was still very economical, but the 1108cc beats them further if driven sensible.
Had a Seicento Hobby SPI 1108cc for a brief period hoping to make a transition to the more modern Chassis. Transplanted the Cinqucento Sporting seats in it and had the springs and dampers of the white one in it.
Drove nice, but felt watered down.
the Seicento had some issues with a leaking heater core, losing water drip by drip so you had to top it of every other day. Lent the car to a non-car-guy-friend for some days to give him Transport, pointing that problem out very firmly... You guessed it... He killed the motor, drove without coolant for serveral kilometers.
