Cosmetic - Exterior Front and rear bumper removed Front valance smoothed out, indicators/sidelights relocated Sealed beam headlights upgraded to halogen Front numberplate relocated below front valance, using original bumper mounted brackets Rear numberplate frenched into rear valance Bumper mounting pressing smoothed out Austin A30 sidelights repurposed as high level indicators on C pillars, lenses tinted amber Rear lights are two pairs of 1964 Ford Galaxie light units, frenched into the rear panel Honda Acty door mirrors

Various different wheel options and mirrors have been on the car over the years, I do intend to go back to the Lotus alloys eventually. Fake moon wheel trims are nice to swap in and out now and then.

Worth mentioning the Unipart boot spoiler, a very rare accessory and very appropriate for what this car is. I'll be redoing it in beige so it blends in better than the black.

Easy to do by letting the fluid out, but then it drives like absolute garbage. It does sit a bit lower than standard, unless it's a hot day and then it sits at about standard height. The joys of fluid-and-gas suspension.

Not really because of the way they're aligned in relation to the rest of the suspension. If you want it to still handle and ride even moderately well it's not an easy system to lower. Also, when you do start lowering them you start getting lots of clearance issues with the wheels and inner arches, not to mention how quickly the sump gets too close to the floor. Then there's the other issue that the ride height is affected by ambient temperature, you can gain and lose quite a bit depending how hot or cold it is.
Best to leave it as BL intended in all honesty. Pumping it up to a slightly lower pressure, or letting out a little fluid is about the best compromise you're going to get and you can only realistically lower them about an inch or two if you want it to still be a nice car to drive.
On top of all that, Hydragas/lastic cars that have been lowered pretty much always look like the suspension is broken and since there's still people who remember these cars bumbling about with broken suspension, that's not a good look.
