It’s the same style as the battery clamps, but much larger, I don’t think it’s part of the rangie

Hi, I agree it's not off the RR, it looks like it could be to hold a spare wheel on a trailer.

I have same sort of thing on a series 1 landrover I'm welding for someone,its for spare wheel,is the wing nut brass ours looked dirty till i polished it.
