Hi, realistically what is this worth? Mk1 Transit V4 petrol model, its such a straight and honest example. Never welded with original chassis, floor steps etc. No rust what so ever. 35,000 genuine miles with 2 owners from new. V5 in hand. No bed on the back, other than that its all complete. The engine is in bits (stripped for rebuild). It needs painting and seats re-covering. Brought it to keep, but something else has crept along now.... Probably wont come across another as decent as this one.

Values are all over the place, realistically it's the least desirable model, single axle and a V4, regularly see ex campers about with similar spec and low miles.
Finished with a period correct bed you might possibly get £8-10k as long as you have proof the mileage is correct.
As it sits maybe 3k and expect plenty of folks wanting it for a grand.

As far as I was aware they were all single rear axles? It has twin rear wheels if thats what you mean? I am about to roll it into the workshop now, my aim is around the 10 grand mark plus once finished. Hopefully! Luckily I have just sourced and collected an original drop-side bed from a mk1. Which I will be lining with all new oak timber planks and fitting on. Not much in the way of paperwork with it unfortunately, and def no proof of millage, but the low owners, originality of the cab and chassis, and fact that there has never been any welding carried out what so ever should work to my advantage and make this one stick out from the rest! Thanks, Matt
