	Morning all I’ve got a small 3 speed gearbox, not sure if it’s an Albion but it’s that style Fiddling with it yesterday and suddenly I’ve got the cable clutch pivot and casting in my hand, clean break through the bottom of the lug I can’t alloy weld, and I’m not sure it’d take one anyway, very old etc By a similar point finding a replacement is going to be tricky/ impossible If I JB Weld it back on and maybe drill, tap and grub screw it back together what are the chances of it staying in one piece? I’ll get some pics up shortly TIA

	Could you fabricate a bracket from a piece of steel angle? You seem to have enough bolts into the box.

	^^^ That, can you not fabricate a bracket to pick up on the bolts either side of the hole?

	I did think about that, but if I could repair the original it’d probably be easier, and I’m basically a lazy sod 😀

	I wouldn't want to trust JB weld hold that. As above a piece of flat bar bolted between those two existing bolts would work. Alternatively perhaps take a look at those aluminium brazing rods, although I've never used them myself I've seen some decent repairs with them.
