Hi, here I have a Mk 2 XR2 with 22,000 on the clock, 3 owners from new, and a never-welded shell.
The car is sitting outside my workshop- awaiting a fresh coat of paint and re-commissioning works.
I am planning on stripping it right down, putting the shell on my spit and giving it a full respray in its original white. The underside will be stone guarded and sprayed in colour, and will then highlight how good and original a example this realy is.
The engine will have an over haul and all brakes and all service items replaced.
The car is totally original and the seats look as if they have never been sat in!
I'm not realy into Fiestas, bit too new for me to be honest (although the more time I spend with it, the more its growing on me)! - but what sort of value would this have once I tidy it up and finish it off ?
I have seen a few decent examples advertised around the 10 grand ish mark, but haven't come across one as original and as low miles, a time-warp, as this one is.... (which is what persuaded me to buy it in the first place !)
