Thanks all - paint job is a bit brush strokes but ok from afar. In hindsight I should have sprayed it but at least the colour is nice - hammerite wild thyme, almost minty fresh 🤔

Smashing. You need to keep an eye out for a little trolley to mount it, and whatever you decide to power from it on. Yes, the base is very much temporary until it's hooked up to something proper |

I've got an unexpected one on the way - A 4L V8 car, although registered in 2000 so guess you won't be seeing it on here  |

Thanks for posting this, you've spurred me on to trying to get my Mk20 Villiers going again. I've had it for about 30 years and used to run it a few times a year. Packed up about 7 years ago - no spark. So. I've managed to get the flywheel off - all looks like it's never been apart, I've certainly never been in there. I've ordered a universal ignition unit, so we'll see how that goes!

The old condensers seem to cause a lot of trouble with spark on old engines (in and out of cars), but luckily they are cheap and fairly universal. Good luck. |

stubla if you want any spares for the 2nd one let me know, my second one is just for bits now. Also, do you have a pic of the silencer on the working one? Not got one on mine and it's very loud!

This is what came with it, but I've had to use a bicycle saddle clip to hold it on, not that successfully. The proper one I think is a mushroom type that screws on, but the screw thread on the exhaust manifold has what looks like the remains of something around it, which will have to come off. At the moment this one just butts up against the outlet. I'll go through the stuff with the yellow one, which I think may be a 2S, with a bigger tank and the zenith carb
