Tbf I was seriously thinking about it, but it really is too far away from North wales, transport cost alone is probably more than it's worth atm, however looks like a good clean would solve 95 per cent of its issues
Now then it would just so happen that I to come and look at a 1930's Jowett that has been squirreled away since the 60's and it in Colwyn

Haven’t got an as found pic but this ( although I think there’s an old thread on here which has) so you’ll have to make do with this one taken after it’s recent Covid refurb.
This was built by the sons’ of my dads boss, used for the 1969 and 1970 race seasons and then pushed into a corner when he decided to concentrate on rallycross instead. Fast forward to 2006 and it was finally dragged into the daylight when the barn roof became unsafe. Dad had a word and we went to have a look and see how the shell had fared during its layup. Unbelievably it was rock solid and although missing a lot they found most of the parts that had been made up for it as well as some spares. In fact it was good enough that all I really did to get it on the road was replace missing bits, clean the mouse turds out and stick it in for MOT!
To my shame it’s been little used for the last few years for various reasons, including an oil pressure issue and a gearbox that won’t stay in second, but corona has given me the time to finally finish a 1330 S motor to replace the knackered MG Metro A+
I'll try to find pictures, but, a couple of years ago I was in California on holiday, and bought a frogeye Sprite ( as you do ) The chap I bought it from had 2 barns - an old granary really, and he'd put 85 cars in there, and a few planes and boats and bikes. I didn't have time to see it all 🤢
Is it allowable to post on this thread if I was the one who put the car there?
If so have a picture of my 1965 Mini MK1 estate (smooth roof) which has been in the garage since around 2006. Note also the triumph spitfire that it was sharing a garage with although I put this in here in 2014 so its a relative newcomer...
