Can be Barn / Garage / Shed / Garden find - but genuine applicants only please - your own images - nothing shipped over from other sources or image grabbed from E Bay - No pretenders / mocked images and please leave the abandoned motors in the 'Lets see the abandoned ones thread' - So if you have come across a genuine find - purchased a motor that has been locked / hidden away for a number of years / assisted with a find - then please post it up here To kick off - I have uncovered many over the years - I hold a fairly privileged position within a car club where I am called upon to value members vehicles - I also have a restoration business and hence see a few clients vehicles that have been unearthed that are then sent to me for restoration works to be undertaken This 1951 Jowett Bradford Utility was unearthed from 40 years of barn storage by one of my clients in 2017 Then restored by myself over a 12 month period This 1954 Jowett Jupiter was stored for over 40 years - I purchased it some it some time ago - originally for myself but have since sold it for restoration which is being undertaken within my workshop Here's the car pictured in Blackpool when it was a few months old I have several others to post up - but I need to head out the workshop and make some progress first - more later

My mini which I bought for £60 in around 2003/4 It had been in that barn on the left since 1992. I've only now got my own place with a garage so I can restore it, but now that I have I can finally get on with it It currently looks like this

My only real bard find. Dragged out of an actual barn in Bridgnorth Shropshire. Sadly no pictures of it in the barn I was too eager to get it out into the day light. First V8 kit car and even if it was a lowly P6 3500 lump it was still pretty quick and an absolute hoot. And old lock-up find G15 - one of the rare ones that I did not actually buy! When working at the lower end of the market the best you can hope for is a concrete lock-up to find the project in. One up from a garden tarp find. Another old Dutton Plastic cars always looks in pretty good order after being left for years - until you get sight of any metal. Or drain the oil This one was one I was sort of involved with when I was the webmaster of the Ginetta owners club - A guy from the US contacted me about a G4 in Grandpa's barn. Turned out to be a very significant car and well past my pay grade. Other finds of mine has been significantly newer and as mentioned just cars under tarps on drives.

I'm not sure whether to post this, as it's not really in a barn (it was outside when I got to it) and it wasn't really a "find". I used to own this in the eighties, took it off the road "to restore", sold it as a project, then when it finally stopped bouncing around I knew the chap who ended up with it. Gave him the usual "if you decide to sell, I'd like first refusal", and finally picked it up when he decided he had too much work to ever get around to doing it. (If this wasn't what you had in mind @grumpynorthener let me know and I'll remove it).

No removal required - it's exactly what I had in mind - genuine finds / recovery's / purchases by well intended new owners - either to keep / restore for them selves or to ensure it goes to a new owner that secures the vehicles future (rather than something being tat traded for 5 times its actual worth on E Bay or people reducing themselves to VIZ based toilet humour)

Currently driving a 1972 BMW 1602 as my daily. Don't ask about previous cars - there have been way too many and I stopped counting at 160!
