The link's dead now. Very reminiscent of Figoni & Falaschi styling, nice!

You could always look at -
Petersen 'Embo'
'One off' based on the famous Georges Palin design.
Built on a 1939 MX Derby Bentley with uprated engine and cooling system.
www.bobpetersenengineering.co.uk/cars
This could well be the source of this car? Only saying.

Not so bothered about the motor, but the sex on wheels sounds appealing

I can't help thinking that the original vehicle which this is based upon might have benefited from a few more Art Deco interior embellishments - the contemporary SS (Jaguar) had an amazing 'Sunrise' doorcard that makes me drool 85 years later.

Not for me that one, the body line along the bottom looks awful, almost like the chassis has broken. Compared to similar era Delage's that the styling has been copied from it just looks wrong.

Exactly my thoughts too, that sill line is awful, compounded by the door shape. There’s way better styled stuff from that period out there. The Bugatti 57c, the Jonckheere rolls Royce phantom (which is a particular favourite of mine) delages, delahayes,, even jaguars.

Yes, those cars just ooze ' Millionaire' when Millionaires were today's Billionaires. I don't see that Bentley evocation as too bad. I think I would be remiss if I didn't slip in a nod to the audacious Hispano-Suiza Dubonnet Xenia. (If you think the door doesn't look quite right it was a very early example of a 'pop & slide' door).

Hay ho ....very nice but to fussy for my taste, plus they look too heavy and over worked. Its all down to personal taste... Its the same reason I have never liked the Veron looks as if a committee designed it, good design is knowing when to stop.
