I seen this on here this morning, made the mad dash to the local store and theres none left. Tried four other stores and all sold out. They are on ebay at double the price already, I must admit I was tempted to buy one on there but the miser in me will wait for the next time Lidl sell them. It did get me wondering how many people around here have a use for them to sell so quickly.

My Dad and I have tried five different Lidls trying to get one of these with no luck at all. Apparently people were queueing for the 8am opening, and all gone by 9.30am! Unlike Aldi, you can't order online either.

It was a long shot this morning in Liverpool, first chance I had, nowt, not surprised.
I did buy one of the socket sets, battery conditioner/charger and a load of cable ties. 😁

Listing shows it having 3 years warranty, when I got mine i was told in no uncertain terms, no receipt, no warranty, so how is the seller going to cover the warranty? Ttfn Glenn |

Just to let people know who don't already, Lidl have plasma cutters for sale again. It's not the same one as this, its now £149 but it has a integrated compressor.

So anybody who actually bought one of these, either originally or at twice the price... Any good? 🤔 I bought one of them yesterday. I have only tried it briefly on thin metal but it worked perfect so I'm very happy with it. I have seen some reviews saying the integrated compressor struggles to provide enough air as metal thickness increases, but I will only ever be using it if I need to cut bits of car panels quickly or to remove old repairs and from my test yesterday it cut through the metal with ease. |
