Folks
Looking for advice on an alarm for my garage, which has been broken into again. It is in a block away from my home, with no power. Any recommendations on battery powered alarms?

Is that sort of thing not frowned upon by the constabulary nowadays?

Not a problem as long as you only use blanks, no certificate required to buy those

I have a friend who used these around his farmhouse external doors after his dog got poisoned, kitchen broken into, and Subaru stolen. He came home a bit inebriated and forgot, he is now deaf in one ear

He came home a bit inebriated and forgot, he is now deaf in one ear Got to be honest if someone had poisoned my dog it wouldn't have been a blank. Which would probably have led to more than hearing loss.
