Very tidy Mk6 escort - rare 3 door diesel very solid car.
At the start of its life it was a police car of some kind - given the lack of roof damage and general traces of signwriting it appears to have been an unmarked or CID vehicle - you can see where there was a police radio mounted on the dash
Don't really have any history on it but it was last MOT'd in 2014 then someone has removed the engine, gearbox and driveshafts presumably for a van or taxi.
I bought it as a rolling shell then picked up a rotted out Mk6 escort van with the correct diesel engine and all ancillaries needed.
I am selling the lot, that's the car as it stands and the front end of the van (cut off at the windscreen top) which has all the parts you could possibly need to get it back on the road.
Yes I have the logbook and if you pay the full price you can have a set of 3dr half leather seats included and a set of the 7-spoke 15" almost-RS alloys that look really neat! Apart from the visible grot on the arches pictured this car is rock solid has been in dry storage for years. The rear screen is not bonded in position (no idea why that is)
Any questions please ask - collection from North wales CH5
