Fionnog my 11 year old ie better know as tiny bought a fiat 126 bi's.
He wanted an inbetweeners car but settled on the 126.
I told him that I had seen it 7 years before. It had been stripped for a respray, but was left sitting ever since.
I took him the 13 Mile's into Redcastle in donegal, to see it and bought it there and then, with his own money.
When back home straight on to goggle researching. So far only 1 pic. First thing he needs is an igination barrel keys

Tiny has had 3 driving lessons, and has taken to it like a duck to water.
Company here just outside derry teach children to drive and drift cars from age 10.

I wish I could off driven a car and lessons at 10.it teaches them respect of driving and cars. The down side they become joyriders. But by letting him learn young, and teach him restoration he could become a pro restorer.
It's paying off that's why I let him buy deal and do his own dealing at 11.
Some one has to teach the younger generation to respect cars. Ie classics

TINYS CAR has stepped one step closer to getting home . hopfully this weekend depending on weather,
he empitied his money box and got £8 out , not much but its his . he went to my mates car components shop and asked adrian to give him sanding paper and da discs for the money ,
adrian of af components took him to the store , saying you need to learn the grades and what there used for , the first steps in learning a 11 year old .
i gaVE HIM A FOLDER for reciepts , an other friend james cooke bought him a jounior hack saw and book for his diary of work ,
he then helped me do a clear out in the garage, shed, bedroom , 2 black bags of ole clothes he got £5 ,20 for more for his car pool. adrian has 2 more for him to sell ,which he will also pool , its great to see him soon keen .
while clearing the garage i found an original winder starting handle and jack plus original tool box for my ole early 126 , i told him if his car didnt have ones he could have it , if it did sell my ole ones and keep the money to fund his too , adrian has since refurbed the set for him .

One of my all time favorite cars: my Mum had a 77 "DeVille" in white with grey carpet and blue corduroy seats.
I got to work on it when I was maybe 13... Incessantly filling the arches with Plastic Padding, squirting on Duplicolor and not really understanding why my repairs wouldn't last. I'd love to have it now.
Your boy will have a distinct advantage over all the little cherubs watching the Internet and playing nasty video games.

Tiny was given £5 by a friend of mine Charlie mc Crystal who said you buy more stuff for your wee car, I gave him £10 for helping me at home and yard.
Af components will be closing on Wed till further notice. Because of corona virus
So I took his receipt sheet up to get him £15worth of bits from af
Box of 500 gloves 1 litre of 2k activator gloves too big for him but not for me lol
Slowly getting his bits together.
