Hi All,
Took custody of this car in 2004 and have gradually since then finished carefully restoring it back to being a sound, strong and attractive useable retro classic.
Mainly returned to standard spec with the exception of the front seats, (tired originals available), and the car's body colour. (Alfa Etna Black Mica) Car still looks black but with a redness that shows in strong sunlight.
Has had new sills and arches, glass out, doors off etc respray, well sealed/ stone chip proofed for the future.
New tyres, brake and fuel lines, brake cables, rear discs, timing belt kit, water pump and thermostat.
Original engine in storage, took unit from my other e21 and fitted it purely as it was a known unit id been driving previously. Also used all the glass from that car for this, as it had a mismatch when i got it. Power steering system swapped to this too.
I'm a former mechanic so all work has been done myself in my spare time so, without having a motorbike to play on for past 2-3 years distracting me, thats how long ive taken to get this car ready to be enjoyed again..
If my photos upload successfully, hopefully they will do the talking for me, as much as id happily hold on to this car, i have other projects and the space and my frequency of use are telling me to let it go for someone else to
cherish..
Pm for more info if required, can email for serious enquiries
Thanks all retroisti for viewing
