The utterly bonkers Mini Wildgoose Camper. One guy in the Mini Club I was in had one and came to the pub meet in it once. They're pretty slow anyway, but the ones fitted with an 850cc engine were almost pointless   |

I quite like that - it is one of the best Jowett's I've seen Only teasing Mr @grumpynorthener Ho - don't get me wrong not everything that Jowett produced was pretty - well I say Jowett, they made the Jupiter chassis available to various coachbuilding companies who then fitted some pretty awful bodies to them - in fact so ugly when compared to the factory bodied cars that some of them belong on this thread    Here is a factory bodied car  And here is a special bodied car from a coachbuilder that got it correct  But now we are well off the thread topic - lets get back on it   |

As a child of the 80s growing up near Derby I remember this well.   I'd swear I saw an ad for a film where that got restored?? Both The Boot and Rollerworld are still around, my daughter had her birthday party there last year and The Boot had a complete restoration 5 years ago although it appears to be Sorned at the mo. www.derbyrollerworld.co.uk/the-boot.html |

I’d last been in 1991 rattlecan and took the kids for the first time about 4 years ago and it was literally like stepping back in time, the cafe is the same ( no fancy lattes just tea or coffee) as is the Eastenders bar, my daughter loves it and we go over most school holidays. (Unfortunately my skating hasn’t improved much since 1991 😂). Anyway I digress, saw this at CarFest North a couple of years ago.   There’s a VW Variant under that duvet somewhere. |
