Going to look at an vehicle that was built in 1971, but not imported into the UK till a few (ish) years ago, it's on a Q plate.
Can it be tax and MOT exempt? Or does the Q plate mean it's not?
Thanks

Q plate means that they could not determine the year of manufacture so your Tax/MOT exemption would be from the date of registration. You would be waiting for 40 minus few (ish) years for any exemptions.
