Hello! This will be little thread, for my -75 fiat 850! (sorry for my bad English, i am from Finland) Let the pictures do the job. Back in the 2018, when i have just bought it from my dad. At first i just remove almost everything that i could, and then i started to sand the old paint. holy curse word that was painful and awful job... Little rusty =)
It took about three months to do all the bodywork, because all the rust. Then finally i could spray the epoxy primer! Then i sanded all the primer down and started to paint inside parts. Then we took the fiat to my job =) After workday i started to paint it Pretty good =) And yes i am carpainter Then couple weeks past and the car was ready..for the first time. Then we jump to this year 2019 and i wanted to make somekind of abarth replica. Now this winter i started to build new engine. Engine is now 800cc and it will be 1000cc after some work, i also have bought: 34mm weber, abarth valve cover, abarth manifold, 850 sport coupe aluminium oil sump etc good stuff. =) Also the interior gets some updates Now i just got idea to make somekind of lancia 037 rear engine panel copy! next summer 2020 i want to show my new built engine, every audi and bmw douche who is tailgating me. xD Something like that. Well that's it so far. Hopefully you guys understand something and sorry again for my bad english. My Instagram: haima_san

Love this - but please get a better way of supporting your car in the air than propped up on 2 bits of steel!!!!

Good to see another 850. Nice project, I'm curious how the 037 look will fit the 850.

I like that. I didn't think the wheels worked, until you added the Abarth stripes, then it all just came together.
And I think your English is better than our Finnish...

Very nice. I didn’t realize they made them as late as 75. I had a 68.

Very nice. I didn’t realize they made them as late as 75. I had a 68. Production stopped in 1972 in Italy but continued for a few years longer in Spain under SEAT and sold throughout Europe. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SEAT_850

Hellooo! I have some updates for you guys. =) Interior is almost ready. I really need some oldschool racing bucket seats My new parts arrived Nissan micra pistons 68mm also that cool rear panel is almost ready (or maybe not) old engine mount welded back on place I welded old engine mount back on the orginal place and cutted that bottom steel, to make some room for my new exhaust. Still need lots of bodywork before paint...bondo and all that stuff, but its getting there. ;D Small update but better than nothing -henri Instagram: haima_san

Absolutely love where this is going! I have some curiosity in this so here are some questions: -What rims are those and how wide are they? -What's the compression ratio with the micra pistons? -Are you planning on reenforcing the chassis on this?
Great job on the 850! Cheers, Francisco

Update!
Backpanel is ready for the filler primer! Test fit Pretty good. I also welded that cut part back on place, because i want in the future also use original backpanel. New exhaust mufler can't be too agressive that it won't fit in original panel.
