Well my gun died a while ago, leaving me with the cheapy lidl one that was supposed to feed its own solder but didn’t, recently created a ‘fizzle fizzle POP’ and died too They've gone up a bit since i last bought one( for a fiver!) so I'm looking for recommendations Don't do a lot of soldering, but need something worthwhile when i do need it, and I'm a strong believer in ‘its better to have a tool i don’t need, than need a tool i don't have.’ So, what have you got, and do you recommend it? TIA

Found a dremmel branded gas one that does more than just solder for about 25quid . Great for heat shrink etc. as well as soldering. James
