	Aesthetically, the wide midget does not work for me, I wish I had a tenth of the Urcfab's skills in metalwork, but the Miata chassis swap he did is a bit overstated for my taste. Here is my attempt at a Miata chassis swap. Goal was to fly under the radar until they hear the V8 rumble! Chassis swaps can be great, but they require a lot of thinking ahead.

	Got rid of the mx5, picked up a type 9 box and have ordered a bell housing

	Yes, I'm gathering parts to run a spare 160 vvc K series I have:) Most things can be bought rather than fabricated, costs more but it's a lot easier! I've bought a Ford gearbox, caterham bellhousing, ordered a starter motor spacer to use an uprated ford starter. Also bought an exhaust manifold, have worked out which flywheel is needed Engine mounts and crossmember can be bought, as can the propshaft and clutch kit. Then it's just fueling, wiring, diff and half shatf upgrades. Breaks and suspension, then the rest lol
