How is the badge coming on Rian? No idea mate. Andy is helping a friend build a house now. I know he was redesigning to create a better draft on Woody. I aquired a new toy a few weeks ago and I have been having a mess with it and came up with this. After printing, cleaning and before primer. After primer After two coats of black base And after some top coat

I was having a sort through the Quarantine garage yesterday and came across these sitting in the corner and immediately thought of you . They are MDF I believe so not really suitable for outside. Yours for free if you want them. Yes please, Thank you mate. I think they will be good. I can also offer some random trade….. to be decided. Happy to trade them. Also, this ship is on it's way to my work place Good score at the boot sale with the Outtatime plate and the T shirts.

So, what do we have to show for the weekend? A tiny bit of sunburn A small, but cool boorfair win or two. And then after a slow start, I did some small jobs as my back kicked off on Friday after the osteopath. Blockpaving and weeds, best of friends. Roundup. Later I looked at the dentists lamp friend Paul “Oblertone” had sent up to be collected when I collected the mini motos. Plan is to mount it up in the rafters of the carport to be adjustable and useable for all sorts of jobs out on the drive. Business end. This thing has some serious power. Late afternoon I also cut the last few bits of wood mate Kevin had dropped off, and the 400mm offcuts from the carport build down to create a part step, part pot plant stand. Painted, I still want to do some darker tone on the top of the step and potplant rest. Weekend over. Busy week ahead.

One more little touch on the trucks customisation. I knew I wanted to do something silly to the number plates. Put this to a maker and he came back with various design options. Now the thing is, I know what my first choice was, I ordered it, then 20 minutes later ordered another design too. So my question to the regular readers and contributors (thank you for taking the time to post replies) is……. Straight or diagonal. Think carefully. Space and placement planned when ordering plates. Thank you for your contributions.

Who actually enforces this then? Apart from the mot when I remove them I’ve driven the escort van all over the country on my played about with number plate with absolutely no hassle and it gets picked up fine by the Dartford crossing cameras I’d just ignore all that curse word tbh

I know of at least 15 cars that have pulled and impounded that were running Cat less exhaust systems but that's not why they were impounded as how plod sees it no cat means it would not get an MOT on emissions and no MOT means no insurance cover so they are impounded for driving without insurance. It's not worth the risk of standing out in a crowd they are only doing it to make money they don't care about the regs or emissions they just see it as a way to make money.

I won't say don't modify the plate, but just know that if you get pulled for it then change it back to stock. Get caught twice and you can have the plate taken confiscated, a £1k fine, and points on your license. Push the rules fine, but do it knowing what the risk is at least.

Can sometime tell them they have the flag backwards in their vertical version please? The canton should be top left when faced to view. Personally I don't like it with the big bar on the left, looks out of place. Personal preference would be to put an "annual" sticker, printed up in the corner like it otherwise would have. My truck, for example. Phil

I still am a firm believer that if you do not drive like a tw@(t) and draw unnecessary attention to yourself, you will be fine inmost cases. The rear one's wonky ...

The rear one's wonky ... Correct. I will wait for you to have a new plate and sticker made for me and delivered. Then we can replace it and you can destroy the wonly one. The moment that sticker touched the plate it would only come off if destroyed. So my option was leave it the hell alone or leave it the hell alone. If you look at the plate surround it has visual lines running diagonally which makes it look more wonky. But like I say, send me the corrected item and I will happily (and with appreciation) fit it.
