I guess it is still progress as parts come in. My Hermes delivered the new Mercedes Benz Vito wheel bolts today. Longer than the Ford Galaxy items as the Benz alloys are quite a bit thicker. Not sure when I will get a chance to trial fit the wheels and tyres, but certainly looking forward to seeing them on and the first drive.

I checked the weather forecast for you...I wish we had some of that wet stuff you get plenty of but besides that you have all the right "ingredients" for a nice day of!! Enjoy! How is Harley and how are you? Both getting back to being the former self?

Vacation today. Lazy start. Cat Did some online training modules before we left. Then headed down to New Romney in the Galaxy after getting a call from We Weld Engineering yesterday to collect the Chevy C10 parts that I dropped off on 4 November for blasting and priming. When we got there, I loaded the parts. Much more space than in Prozac of course. Once all loaded, I paid for the work that had been done. I was quoted at £30.00 per piece. The job seems to have been done with a gentle, sensitive hand. Once the job was paid for, Sally and I headed homeward via McDonalds, and I got us each a kids meal and coffee. Check out the street name for heading home. So then headed homeward via Morrison’s to get some food. Then home to unpack the treasures.

How’s the rubber matting settling in? Or does it still have the aroma of a BDSM establishment?

I've had a strange hankering for one of these recently and an idea for how I would style it. That load space looks epic!

I've had a strange hankering for one of these recently and an idea for how I would style it. That load space looks epic! Prozac was EPIC....... Then went back into the garage and found and unpacked the front radiator support panel and managed to wriggle it in as well. With the same parts in the Halaxy, there is space for Prozac in the back as well. They are large. 2m X 1.4m rear floor.

Nice to see progress on the truck, hope the moggy is comfortable pal, sending a reassuring shoulder grab your way. Thank you very much mate. Appreciated. Harley in June 2013 when the Chevy landed, as always inspecting and ensuring my safety. With restarting the truck resto now, I will miss her if she ends up not making it after Tuesday. Currently I am feeding her 1/2 a chopped chicken breast twice a day which she is managing easier than the dry food or even her favourite Dreamies This behaviour is also completely alien to her, only the last 10 days or so has she jumped onto Work surfaces (spam filters)and been trying to drink from any cups in the sink, I now leave a cup of water for her..... she never used to do it, so another sign that all is not right.

Her coat does not look right either Rian sorry, something is upsetting her. Coat and grooming has been off for a week or more. I guess not being able to eat or drink, ie. the growth inside her mouth under her tongue is upsetting her. Like it has done me.

I went through exactly the same early this year and the outcome was predictable 15 years was a good stint and not fair to try to prolong anything. What has to be done will be I'm sure.

She has been a stellar companion to me over the eleven years I have known her since meeting her. You guys know her as well as I do, and I share her because she is and has always been a “Daddies girl” as Nicola used to say and many of us have companion animals, dogs, cats etc. Always there, day in, day out, and like a dog she has been loyal and a pain all at the same time. It will tear me up, but I will honour her in doing the right thing for her. This week has seen her change and slow down.
