Beautiful blooms, Never been a gardener, prefer the philosophy of "concrete the lot, paint it green and if a bird sh*ts on it I'll say it's a daisy" !! Always referred to the giant poppies as "Californian poppies" Nigel

Beautiful blooms, Never been a gardener, prefer the philosophy of "concrete the lot, paint it green and if a bird sh*ts on it I'll say it's a daisy" !! Always referred to the giant poppies as "Californian poppies" Nigel Alongside workshop stuff, my garden is a place for my mental health recovery. These days are tough for many of us, and I find myself needing therapy almost daily. Seriously. And the dog, though not mine, still allows me to laugh out loud. This morning George the cat was walking behind me when I walked out to water a few pot plants, and tried to ankle-tap me, grabbing my leg, when I turned to touch him, he came up, grabbed my hand and gave it the gentlest of bites……. Because I had ignored him, sitting on the coffee table, waiting patiently for some Dreamiest. I could not stop laughing. So these animals and other side distractions do earn their keep, by reminding us to slow down and smell the roses. SO……. Just some random mix of doggy madness for those who enjoy animals living their best lives. This dog adds so much mental health support, it’s unreal. Some days you just need to relax and smile.

Have to say, your garden was very nice, Nigel Thank you. I mostly created it to be self maintaining, however that still needs a lot of attention. But it makes me smile, and the wildlife love it. George last night. I suspect there could be a few quotes added to this pic.

"Where's me breakfast ? " Yup, sounds right. Take care Rian. Do not think to much. Life is short,, enjoy it (and ignore all crazy, ignorant, self loving bosses). Thom Thank you Thom. We were in Birmingham for two days this week, the behaviour of management was very interesting, like they have nothing to lose. I guess it’s a matter of time now. But I will not allow this to stop me going on my yearly USA trip. Unfortunately the stress and worry does not go away. George last night. I suspect there could be a few quotes added to this pic. What did you do to wake him up, you horrible man. You know I may seem it, but I am his favourite slave.

My younger brother “Dozer” retired in February after more than 41 years in the military. So being a pensioner means he has lots of time to create random stuff. Todays creation was a flower and bug, after servicing his motorcycle. As a first time for something like this, he says most of the time was spent swearing and 25% of it making up and welding it. .

That's cool. Are the links welded to retain their shape?

That's cool. Are the links welded to retain their shape? Not sure, but there was a lot of welding, and ratio of 1:3 of welding vs swearing he says. Actually, looking again, I suspect they could have been welded to retain the shapes.

Just random maybe.
Wait a couple of days and then try to swap it onto the van.

Took the new van and Sally for a ride today. One of the places we ended up was on the Isle of Sheppey, at good friend Darren’s engineering shop. Always one to look for other avenues of revenue, and also liking a project or two on the side. This is current with great potential. After making a full round of his newest car, engineering and fun stuff, I searched his massive dumpster/skip in case there were treasures in there…… No luck. But, associated with one of his current engineering projects, was this…….. We got into a quick negotiation and a sensible price was agreed. This may end up being a fart in a wind storm, or it could become real thunder. SO ANY INPUT, PAST EXPERIENCE, PHOTOS, DESIGNS, WARNINGS ( fiscal and H&S) are welcome. At this point Sally just said OMG, Really? And carried on on her Instagram. So we were discussing me taking ownership of this beauty after it has served its purpose here…… And turning it into a 4 wheeled drivable vehicle. If Barstools, Ammo cases, lawn tractors and mobility scooters can…… then why not a Jetski. Steering wheel, rear view mirrors, comfy seat. WHAT MORE COULD YOU WANT? So right now, it is just an idea fuelled by a lot of cannabis and beer. Input welcome. Don’t be negative, get with the madness.

Just realised, the right guy for this sort of thing is grenade Paul does not do things by half measures, but even if we watered down his advice by 75% it would still be a dangerous toy. And we like danger, don’t we.
