Always sad when a good car dies as result of a costly failure.
Springs, if affordable sound like a good idea.
Sensibly low, rather than smacked down.
that was pretty much my first thought.... after remembering an "interesting" trip up the m5/m6 in a mates one that had an ecu glitch with a tendancy to cut out occasionally. he only preformed the key off /wait a second/key on trick to get it going again a few times...in lane 3...at speed!!

as gn said rian , if you aren't fussed about he plate , get it advertised. nothing to loose.
random thought for the makeover , and knowing your penchant for murican stuff... how about a faux/naff woody conversion??
I am quite happy to leave the plate where it is for now.
The car will have to let me know what it needs to be done.
Look forward to seeing it.
Could work if they are sensibly priced.
No use adding £400.00 in wheels to a £700.00 car.
