I’ve just saved this fiat coupe 20vt it’s been off the road since 2016 needs work. Timing belt kit, aux belt kit and water pump as was done in 2008. Sorted the offside coil spring, number plate bulb, wipers, bonnet cable as snapped, headlight bulbs and removed hids as one didn’t work

Good stuff. I just looked at your thread for the 155 with 20vt - do you have an update on that?

A very cool car indeed!
Aren't the timing belts meant to be a pain to do on these? Or are they easier than said?

Up until recently I never took to the Coupes, I wasn't a big fan of the styling and never had much faith in a Fiat performance car.
However at the turn of the year I started looking at them as a potential new purchase- their aesthetics appealed to me- they're good looking cars, interiors are nice and the engines offer genuine performance potential, aren't they 20v turbo versions of the integrale variant?
The problem came trying to find one without poor bodywork/issues at a reasonable price and in the end I chickened out and went with what I know best- Japanese.
By the time I eventually look for one they'll have probably rocketed up in value and they're probably one of those that got away now, but I'll keep an eye out when I'm looking.
How is the build quality? Is there enough room in the back for passengers? How do you rate them compared to your Alfas or other cars you've owned?
Nice colour too.

The coupe has more room in the back unlike my Alfa Gtv v6. The coupe 16vt is the same as the delta intergrale and Alfa 155 Q4 The build is ok. I love the sound of the 5 pot engine I sold my old coupe 3 years ago and had missed it. I wanted a sprint blue or yellow one but this one is in good all round condition but needs some tlc

Got timing belt kit, aux belts with idler, tensioner, oil filter, fuel filter, oil 10/60w and anti freeze. Just waiting for the rocker cover gasket before doing timing belt.
Got a few bits of interior heater controls, number plate lights as mine ones are broken and a pair of better condition headlights which I should have some time next week
