I've been very patient since returning from Australia. Had a few jobs to do around the house waking the place up. I decided that a week was long enough and it was time to have a go at getting the cars woken up.
First up was the mini. I took the plugs out, squirted a bit of oil down the lubes and turned it over to get the oil pressure up and then it was time to see....

Buoyed by my success with the Mini it was time to move onto the Escort. I did all the same prep and gave it a crack...

Well….. 100% success. Welcome home I hear them say. I was somewhat gobsmacked at the both of them. Even more so because they were running on the fuel that was left in the tank from 3.5 years ago.

Well we've been back a year now and all settled back into the swing of things. Work is going well for me with my progress onto the CNC side of the business. Wife has got herself a dream job in medical affairs for a company so she is happy. It's great meeting up with mates at the footy and having a beer. Life is good. Not really done anything with the cars but I have taken the Escort out for a couple of blasts in the Peak District over the summer. Need to get that mojo back and get the Mini done once and for all. One of the Escort out in the countryside and then a few old uns I've spotted out n about. Ooroo mi ducks.
