Next up was a British car day up the road in Round Rock. I thought it might be loads of stock Triumph TRs and MGs, and it was. There were a few surprises too as you'll see shortly... Not a factory colour I don't think!

Wait a second, that's not an A-Series; Electric Mini. Spoke to the owner for ages. Drives a Honda gearbox, mounted in a Honda conversion subframe. Batteries in the boot - well it's not like you could ever fit a lot in there anyway... All done by Moment Motors, not sure if they have a website. Apparently the conversion adds 300lb to the weight of the car, has a range of 90 miles or so (I think?). She told me how much it was, I can't remember the exact figure but I looked it up and she could've bought at least two top-end restored original Mini Cooper S's... Lovely inside Rear suspension

The Austin Rock and Roll Car Museum - www.austincarmuseum.org/ - is only open for a couple of Saturdays a month, luckily I was able to go. No cameras allowed, but the fella was happy enough for me to snap away with my phone. It's less a museum and more a storage facility but it was definitely worth spending an hour or so there. This is a Tupolev N007.

And this is an actual Ghostbusters car, used in actual Ghostbusters. One of two built. I took loads of photos of it but my phone had some kind of fit in the heat without me realising, and they all came out mostly terrible. Or was it haunted?! A Lincoln Continental used by JFK, but not THAT Lincoln Continental used by JFK.

Gas turbine powered Corvette. I'll have to go googling to find out more. Apparently this is a replica of a Hot Wheels car but obviously fully working and real. I think a lot of these belong to whoever runs Moonshine Sweet Tea, the name was on the doors of a few of the cars. I tried some, it's not proper tea tbh. Cold for a start... I'll stick with the Yorkshire, milknosugarta.
