All of the 2.5 engines use the Mk2 “staggered port” heads and apart from some oddball emissions heads on some US cars with different inlet port spacings (which are mercifully fairly rare here) manifolds are interchangeable. Also with the Mk2 2L engines.
I chose Mk2 for the “face” and the dash (like a wooden dash with dials) but there are features of the Mk2 1 I prefer . Not being quite so long being one.
