late to the party here all the Sherpa / ldv pilot type trucks that are pickups with separate beds are full separate chassis this is a great idea btw, the tk would work a treat channelled down low, especially with some wider front wheels to lose the track width discrepancy 1.9 dw8 and 5 speed would be my engine swap choice, as the later ldv's came with them stock Or you could buy my running, driving Iveco daily - and cab swap that

Almost on the road: b11 sunny breadvan, e36 tds, 325i skidcar,
nearly there: ford f250 tathauler, suzuki alto, u11 bluey
not for a while: ford pop, 32 rails,
not in this lifetime: ruby, '29 hillman

I can't see the lack of width in the Sherpa front axle being a problem - allows for plenty of tuck for lots of lows:-

Old Fords never die they just go sideways

Measured again today, if I use taxi steel wheels with a 2" band I will have 3.5" either side hang over.
I think we can live with that in a narrowed beam vw style 😎

That looks like modern art, stick it on a plinth and sell it to fund something for the TK project.
