1997 BMW 523i, Grey, poverty spec Auto with 130k on the clock (very low for a 22 year-old) 2 previous owners, well maintained with spare key and service history with loads of receipts. MOT August 2020.
It's a 523i SE so not as desirable as a Sport but this one wafts about with no issues and hasn't been thraped and has obviously been looked after, as the photographs show. It's in excellent condition inside and out with grey velour interior (ooooooooh) There are a lot of rough E39s about and this isn't one of them. Climate control (which works perfectly) heated front seats, electric mirrors and electric windows all round.
It has the original toolkit, glovebox torch and manuals. I've owned it almost 2 years and in that time it's had 4 new tyres, new battery and crank position sensor. It's sailed through the last two MOTs. I had to have the headlights and handbrake adjusted at last years MOT. It had an advisory for an oil leak on this years MOT but that turned out to be the rocker gasket which I replaced two weeks ago. I have also serviced it twice in my ownership using Fuchs 5W30 fully synthetic oil. It has Angel eyes fitted (not cheap chinese Ebay ones) It's rust-free and is in original condition. £1100 ONO

Thanks for the positive comments. It's a SE, it hasn't got leather and isn't a Sport so that equals poverty spec in the world of E39s even though it has climate control, heated seats and full electrics. You get a LOT of rough E39s now and it's as clean as the pictures.
That's a lovely thing, and I think I had the most pov spec e39 (520i SE, no climate, no cruise or steering wheel buttins) and even that was a lovely thing on 200k, I'd be on this if I were in the market for one, and wouldn't discount another e39 at all if my Mondeo ST blew up tomoro. Good luck with the sale
