I have rented my house, and moved in with my partner, the downside of this is I have lost my garage/workshop, So, my better half has sorta cleared her Garage and given me a big lump of her garden in which to build a workshop, So I have acquired a 3x5 mtr lump of patio at the rear of her garage, So the build has commenced,
Its an all timber build, Flat Felted roof, mainly to keep the profile low as its overlooking the Chanel and on top of a cliff, Its built on a 50x100 tanalised sole plate wrapped DPM and bolted thru the patio, and the back of the workshop is bolted the house garage rear wall, The rest of the structure is made from 19mm moisture proof OSB a good dose 50x100 and for good measure a lashing of black shiplap.
Soleplate bolted to the patio, as you can see there is little room between the next doors wall, so the assembly of the wall side was made by building it flat on the floor including the shiplap and lifted into position dropped onto the sole plate and bolted to it
The wall is in position and bolted dow, ... end of day 1
Day 2 and the second side and rear panels are in position, no roof is going on yet as its a touch breezy today,
The lunatics are quite happy in their work, I must say I'm pretty tired its been a busy busy weekend and the shiplap looks stunning
