I kind of refrained from commenting because I personally enjoyed the mans threads on here ,but in equal measure have always enjoyed your threads on here I don’t know the full story but does seem a huge shame Good luck with the finishing touches on this lovely motor And keep on posting the positive side Regards Danny

Could a set of stock hubcaps be persuaded to fit on those wheels? I think it´d look rather good.

Great result, shame it has the wrong type of V4.

Nice work and brings back some happy memories of the V4 Corsair I owned in the late 1970's. I have an abiding memory of having to replace leaky core plugs in the back of the head. Plus it was my first encounter with a Dolly (bodywork type!) as I opted to pocket the insurance money and repair the rear driver side quarter after it was caved in when someone went 'ice skating' too close to my parked car!! It was also sky blue but not this one as I later sprayed in navy blue. Very spacious car for its time but prob my fav Fords that I owned in that general era were a couple of Mk3 Cortina 2000E's

This week I have been mostly cleaning, sanding and polishing some trim parts for the front of the Corsair and it's all jim 's fault after seeing his video of him restoing and rebilding his centre consol it inspired me to clean up polish and prepair these parts to rebuild and fit to the car. Nice new brackets.
The old Rusty nackered brackets.
With the weather being horrible at the moment I have managed to do something productive. I just have a few tings to do before I can re mount the rubbers (the black bits in the tub) to the new brackets and fit the parts to the car. More pictures of that later

It's not the worst thing I've been blamed for! The plates are looking excellent though!
