Thanks
Well it's what I would call a doodle nothing set in stone I may get one of my Cosmics out and design a 16" centre, I can doodle as much as I need.
The idea is to have an alloy hoop and a billet centre then I can design what I want I most probably will never get them made but it keeps my mind doing creative things.

Sorry, just doodling. Thought a set of these would suit, despite the wrong pcd. What size are the large steel wheels you have? That looks outstanding!

Not sure what size your Cosmics are....assume 13"...but i´ve seen a few sets of older alloys converted to larger diameter split rims, so that´s an option maybe.

Hi Pete. What where the steel wheels you have had on it from? Hi zeteccorsair nice to see you here you should run a thread on your Corsair and all you have done to her you would get a lot of interest?
Here is a link to the steel wheels I have fitted:

Hi Pete, I love the wheel designs. My fave is the gas burner style ones.
Do you use the pipe run tool inventor? I'm finding it quite tricky!
I hope you're doing well and stay safe.

I think your cad design would look nicer if the wheel face was flatter. To me, wheels that bow out towards the middle look like modern fwd offset wheels trying hard to have a dished rim. Just my opinion of course.
Although I think it looks good on the steels as it is too.

LOL Ok good another Corsair thread will be appreciated by so many.
It's easy when you get used to it but everyone has to find the way that is best for them.

Not a lot done over the last couple of weeks but I have been busy in the back ground. Some time ago while researching the Corsairs history from new I found that it had been originally sold buy Frank Cheverton the only Ford Dealers on the Isle of Wight in 1967 and was able to find this flyer, so from that I created a sensible looking period dealer sticker.
Thanks to pauly22 for posting the image of his wheel centre cap stickers I contacted www.isaydingdong.com and sent the image of what I wanted off to them they then created the sticker for me.
And I think it looks just right.
Last week I decided to strip and repaint the 1970's Eversure trolley jack I inherited from my Uncle last year so that was dismantled and thoroughly cleaned and repainted I kept the factory red colour for hydraulic parts but changed the cream colour to a nice blue, I still have the main cover to fit and the manufactures plate when the cover has finished drying and the paint is hard.
Before
After
I do have a couple of other irons in the fire so to speak waiting for those to progress but more on those once I have all the pieces.

Looks good, I didn’t realise they would make other stickers too, useful to know. My Capri is originality from the isle of wright too, just saw yours is a DL number plate too.
